Butter Yourself started with one founder, one kitchen counter, and one belief: skincare should feel personal. Not mass‑produced, not one‑scent‑fits‑all, not “close enough.” Real skin deserves real choice. So every formula we create is intentionally unscented, designed to be customized with hundreds of fragrance options, mix‑ins, and combinations that let people build something that feels uniquely theirs. No two routines look the same — and that’s the point.

Butter Yourself products are fully customizable. If you like our Body Butter because of its incredibe texture, we don’t think it should end there. You should also be able to choose what it smells and looks like. Blue coconut? Pink peppermint? Whatever works for you!

Yes! Every product in our line, from our Foot Scrub to our Facial Oil is 100% vegan. We use plant-based ingredients and we never test on animals.

When you choose a Butter Yourself product, you can choose to make it smell like any of our available scents, or go with an unscented option. We have a rotating, seasonal scent menu that ranges from Apple to Wisteria. For some of our products, you can also choose from a collection of fun colors, or even add an upgrade like glitter.

Because our products are all natural and don’t have any preservatives, it’s best to keep them out of extreme temperatures. Don’t leave them in a hot car or on a windowsill. Choose a cool, dark place like a bathroom cabinet.

All of our products are 100% natural when you choose the unscented option. If you choose a fragrance, we use a blend of natural essential oil and skin-safe fragrance oils. Options like Peppermint and Lemon are natural, but options like Cake Batter and Churro will contain some synthetic fragrance. When we use a synthetic fragrance, we choose options that are skin-safe, vegan, and made without animal testing.
